
Omogboruko Elvis is a distinction candidate in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a part 6 medical student of College of Medicine, Ekiti State University, Ado- Ekiti. He is a noble personality of high standards and principles for success and establishment. His passion and desire for an influential life has featured him as youth leader, initiator and masterminder of several laudable community service projects, with over 4 years of work experience. He is a campus advocate for prevention of sexual violence, after successful training by the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative, in partnership with WARIF (Women at Risk International Foundation). With exciting projects under his belt, he is primed to contribute immensely to the prevention of GBV on campus and surrounding communities, states and nations. His areas of interest are Social Medicine, Community Service, Academic and Socioeconomic Development. Skills possessed include creative thinking, organizational abilities, innovative capacity, multitasking and team work. He effectively utilizes his skills in his areas of interest and have organized various health advocacy and improvement outreaches, career exposition and empowerment programs for secondary school students, engaged in social media and advocacy campaigns with socioeconomic and cultural benefits. Elvis is an excellent medical student currently studying at Ekiti State University; aiming to leverage on a proven knowledge of social and preventive medicine and passion for improved life conditions, to positively impart lives. Frequently praised as hardworking with exceptional abilities by his peers, he is gifted with capabilities and able to achieve organizational goals. Acknowledging the importance of relaxation and recreational activities, he spends his leisure watching football games, enjoying soul-lifting music and entertainment, reading knowledgeable articles, magazines, and facts and the peak of all, volunteering. His ideology is that of living for humanity and making the world a better place starting from his immediate environment.
