
Dr (Mrs) Temitope Okunola is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, researcher and public health advocate. She holds MB;BS from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and Master’s degree in Public Health from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She is a fellow of both West African College of Surgeons and National Postgraduate Medical College (FMCOG) of Nigeria. She won International Continence Society/PFIZER 2018 Urodynamics Fellowship. She was the winner of both Dr M A Majekodunmi prize and Rivers State Government award for overall best candidate for FMCOG in 2015. She was a visiting scholar at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Nashville, Tennessee, USA where she had sub-specialty training in Urogynaecology and Female Pelvic Reconstruction. She has published papers in both local and international journals. She is also a reviewer to many international journals. She works as a Lecturer/Honorary Consultant at Ekiti State University /Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti. Dr Okunola is the attending physician at Ekiti State Sexual Assault Referral Centre (Moremi Clinic), EKSUTH, Ado-Ekiti. She is also the Director of Gender-based Violence at Eden Life Specialist Hospital, Ado-Ekiti. She has been a peer educator for many years. She loves working with teenagers and youths in helping them attain their full potentials. She is married with children.
